2025 promises to be as varied as it is exciting.
The Intemporelles show features the female vocal trio Swing & Blush, accompanied by beatboxer Sidi Biggy and guitarist Bruno Helstroffer. On the menu: a cocktail of songs from different horizons, from the most classical repertoire to pop-rock hits and film music, all carefully shaken by your dedicated mixologist.
Another show, another partner. Denis d'Arcangelo, aka Madame Raymonde (remember here), combines his talents as an actor and singer with those of director Gwen Aduh to concoct Tournée d'Adieux, a tale of bloody crimes in which spoken texts intertwine with a background of selected music and various songs. A six-piece live ensemble provides the instrumental continuity of the show. Arrangements by Bruno Peterschmitt (songs) and Daniel Capelletti (instrumental pieces).
Both shows are scheduled for release in the 2025\/26 season. More about it later.
Mélanie De Biasio is an artist I first met when she was taking jazz singing classes at the Brussels Conservatory. Since then, she has developed an exemplary career that fully expresses her refined talent and personality. I'm delighted to be the arranger of an instrumental medley for strings (around her magnificent "Il vento") to be premiered at the Botanique at the end of May 2025.
Other projects are in the pipeline, details of which I'll share in a future post.
