Daniel Capelletti (* 1958) studied at the Brussels Royal Conservatoire of Music, with Eduardo del Pueyo (piano) and André Laporte (composition).

He is laureate of several international piano competitions both in Belgium and abroad, and three-time winner of the Sabam Prize for composition at the Queen Elisabeth's International Musical Competition. 

Composer, arranger and pianist, Daniel Capelletti is active in all musical genres. He collaborates with Julia Migenes, José van Dam, Hervé Niquet, Dirk Brossé, Philippe Catherine, Bruno Castellucci, Roger Hodgson, Philippe Lafontaine, Maurane, Annie Cordy, Alec Mansion, Mustii, Paul Shaffer, Valerie Simpson, Rita Coolidge, Anneleen Lenaerts, Renaud Capuçon and many others. His works, and in particular his numerous symphonic arrangements, are played and recorded by many orchestras around the world: Brussels Philharmonic, Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, North Netherlands Symphony Orchestra, Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, Orchestre national des Pays de la Loire, etc.
