In 2003, I was contacted by the vocal trio Swing & Blush to help develop their upcoming stage show, which featured them accompanied by a guitarist and a beatboxer. About fifteen songs were subsequently produced, ranging in complexity and intricacy. Only the song “L'absolu féminin” is a pure composition, based on lyrics by Marine Lafdal-Franc, and intended to serve as the show’s opening number.
