Wien
Clarinet in Bb, piano. Written and edited in 1992. Commissioned by Alain Van Kerckhoven, publisher. Published by Alain Van Kerckhoven, AVK 46. Duration: 1m 50s.
Villes is a project born from the initiative of three people: the publisher Alain Van Kerckhove, the composer Michel Lysight and the clarinettist Michel Debroeyer. The aim was to publish a collection of original compositions for clarinet and piano, brought together by the name of a city, real or imaginary, and source of inspiration. Wien is my participation in this project, alongside Michel Lysight's Samarkand, Robert Janssens's Disneyland, Jean-Marie Simonis's Fairy tale city and Jacques Leduc's Avignon.
