Toast à Alain

Mixed choir (SATB). Written and premiered in 2025. Unpublished. Duration : 1m 5s.

For more than twenty years, my old friend Alain De Ley served with passion and dedication as artistic director of the 'Vlaams Radiokoor'. More than a thousand concerts marked this long and fruitful career. When he retired, a celebration was organized that brought together, among others, his employers and many of his colleagues. Several surprises punctuated the celebration, including a performance by the radio choir of my little musical toast, composed especially for the occasion.
