2020 will forever remain the year of the coronavirus, lockdown and social distancing. For the artists, the impossibility of performing on stage and a doubtful future will have generated a lot of anguish, but will also have been an opportunity to look for other ways of expression. The New Gates Trio (Matteo Cesari, Maxime Desert and Aurélie Saraf) asked many composers to write a very short work expressing their feelings about this troubled period. Out... is my little stone added to this original and deeply human project called 'Sonic Postcards', and was created/posted online on June 6, 2020.
