Mark your calendars for the Sphères Sonores and Henri Pousseur Prize Winners Concert on December 7th at the Théâtre de Liège, featuring works by Max Charue and Nicolas Roulive, as well as my Duotango in its version for piano four hands. I'll have the honor and pleasure of sharing the keyboard with Nao Momitani to bring you this moment of music.
The four-hand piano version of the Duotango was written in 2020 and was originally scheduled to premiere in December of that year, but the concert was canceled due to restrictions imposed by Covid. The first performance will finally take place, three years later. All we had to do was wait.
