One project follows another, and they're all different. No sooner have I drawn the final double bars on my arrangements for Annapolis (see this post) than I’m diving into two Parisian projects with the complicity of my longtime partner in crime Hervé Niquet. For the Orchestre national d’Île-de-France, I have a dozen of symphony arrangements to write or adapt. The concert will take place on December 18 at the Philharmonie de Paris, featuring soprano Marie Perbost in a festive and eclectic program. A few weeks later, on January 13, 2027, rendezvous at the Théâtre du Châtelet, this time with the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris and the choirs of the Concert Spirituel. In addition to Scaramouche and Barba Garibo, two masterpieces by Darius Milhaud, there will be a colorful selection of music by Gershwin, Benatzky, Clark Fox, Trenet, Betti, and many others, arranged by yours truly. Come and enjoy it all!
