Deus ex machina ♪

Created in 1987 by the choir of the "Belgische Radio en Televisie", Bart Quartier, Gert François, Marta Szabo and myself, conducted by Peter Serpenti. Commissioned by the "Belgische Radio en Televisie". Unpublished.
The expression "deus ex machina" is to be regarded both in the literal sense and in its usual meaning. The choir symbolizes a kind of polymorphous god, humanizing and saving the disembodied existences of the machines / music instruments. The work is simple and clear in its general structure, but also extremely detailed and refined in notation.
